Prostate Cancer Lincs and Humber

Welcome

We are a Prostate Cancer Support Group which was formed by Dave and Jacky Lee in 2012, under the name of Procas, to provide an independent support group for anyone affected by prostate cancer.

We welcome anyone whose life has been touched by prostate cancer - patients, wives, partners, families, friends and carers are all welcome.

The group is voluntarily funded.

What we do

Coping with Prostate Cancer isn't easy - but getting help and support is!

When a prostate cancer diagnosis threatens to turn life upside down, it's nice to know there is somewhere to turn. At Prostate Cancer Lincs and Humber we have a range of people attending our group that have had a broad range of experience with prostate cancer - the different treatments and therapies, and from a range of perspectives too. At some meetings we have speakers, on subjects relevant to helping people cope with prostate cancer.

We provide somewhere to ask those questions that you forgot to ask the doctor, somewhere the people understand your problems and worries because prostate cancer has touched their lives too.

Monthly Group Support Meeting

Our support meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month (except December), 2pm-4pm at the Old Brumby United Church, Ashby Road, Scunthorpe, DN16 2AQ.

You do not have to book to come to a meeting, you are welcome to just turn up.

You are welcome to contact us by phone on 07922 487 824 - if we are not available, please leave a message and we will get back to you.
